Oakwood University Miss UNCF 2023 – Askiah Mohammed

Hi everyone, I am Askiah Mohammed, a rising senior at Oakwood University where I am currently pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Biology Pre-med. I am presently serving as vice president of Alpha Chi, and Chaplain of Beta Beta Beta. My life’s motto and platform is entitled, ‘Press on’ which is inspired by Philippians 3:14. This being a motivating factor has prompted my participation in this competition to help someone else to be able to be cleared. In emerging as a candidate I will use the money gained to alleviate the educational hurdle faced by the under-represented students at Oakwood University.
