Dr. Alma Blackmon, an accomplished musician, conducted the Oakwood University Aeolians for 12 years. Under her leadership, the Aeolians gave hundreds of performances and received high acclaim and notoriety. Donations received from the Alma Blackmon Aeolians will be used memorialize her contributions/leadership in the newly renovated music building at Oakwood University.
