Luther Bryant Jr. Athletic Endowed Scholarship

Luther Bryant, Jr. graduated from Oakwood College in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Biology and Chemistry. Known for his athleticism and grand physical stature Luther his nickname was Big Lu, however his physical stature dwarfed his humility and kindness During his time at Oakwood, he participated in basketball, football, softball, and tennis. He developed many lifelong friendships at Oakwood through his engagement in sports. He was generous with his time and love for family, friends, and anyone that needed help. Please continue his legacy of service and sportsmanship by contributing to this endowment established in his name. The endowment will provide scholarships to qualifying students participating in intramural and/or collegiate sports majoring in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Allied Health.
