The Delbert and Susan Baker Running for Scholarships Fund

This special scholarship fund was established in 2010 to promote academic excellence, health and wellness practices and Adventist values. Former president, Dr. Baker, (1996-2010), ran 40+ marathons (2000-2010) in 36 states of the United States, on the seven continents of the world, plus the North Pole. Thanks is given to Florida Hospital (Celebration Health) for underwriting expenses of the marathons for scholarships. Sponsors of the marathons raised $500,000 and fund is now in excess of $750,000. The goal is to reach $1 million by Alumni weekend, 2025.
